What we collect

When you send our quote form we receive what you type: the machine you need, whether you want to rent or buy, when you need it, where the job is, your name, phone number, email address and message, and whether you checked the text message box. We also record the page you sent it from, the link that brought you to the site (including any campaign or click tags in it), your IP address and browser type, and the time. When you call or text us, we receive your phone number and what you tell us.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your request, quote the machine and the delivery, and serve you as a customer. We use visit data to understand which of our pages work.

Text messages

If you check the text message box on our form, Salt Flats Equipment Co may text you about your request, quotes and orders. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase.

We do not share, sell or rent mobile numbers or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Text messaging opt-in data is never shared with anyone except the service providers that deliver our messages.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to measure visits. It uses cookies. You can opt out with your browser's cookie settings or Google's opt-out tools.

Our spam check on the quote form is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the service providers that run this website, store our requests in our customer records, deliver our email and texts, and measure visits, and only so they can do that work for us. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep request and customer records as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and tax obligations, then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by calling (801) 960-7572 or emailing sales@saltflatsequipment.com. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
